In January this year i took my car into "The Wash" car wash in the lifestyles on kloof centre, I used this car wash often and Malcolm (the Manager) Promised to wash and polish my car. A few hours later when i returned he said he had had an accident and crashed my car into a cement pillar. The damage was bad (R14 000) I was shocked and asked to speak to the owner, the owner appeared and said THAT THEY WERE NOT INSURED and that he would pay the excess if I claimed from my insurance. This was 9 MONTHS ago. After numerous phone calls from the insurance company and myself i was finally told as they have a disclaimer that states that they hold no responsibility for cars in their care. As far as I can understand gross negligence and responsibly are two different things. I just want to warn all customers of " The wash" car wash that if the same thing happens to you, you are on your own.
