Account paid off but credit profile not updated

I called Avon in July and sent a paid up letter from NBA confirming that I have settled the outstanding debt. The request was for an ITC update to be done. My name is still listed as someone who owes Avon on the ITC. Very recently in October, I called the credit control department and I was made to hold for 10 minutes as the lady who answered the phone made who me hold for 10 minutes while she went to find out who does the ITC update requests. That was very unproffesional. I need my name cleared on the ITC regarding this account.
