I'm disgusted and totally disappointed with this c

I have been applying for electricity with Eskom for the past 5 years but I have not been assisted at all, I first applied for electricity I'm March 2009 and I was told to wait for a period of 3 months for a response of which I did and when I started following up on my application I was told that it has been cancelled and I asked that by who's permision or who called in to cancelled the application and I didnot get a straight answer and I was told to re apply after 6 months and I waited and after that 6 months I went to the Madadeni offices to apply and they told me that they haven't started with the applications yet and I went to apply again last October and they told me that they haven't started with the application process yet and now I have applied again through the callcentre on the 9th of ;anuary and I got a reply from the post saying that I can't get electricity now my question is that I want to know that why I can't get something that I will be paying for? People in my community are getting electicity left right and centre but I fail to understand that why I cant get it or I have to get people who have to cables and connect electricity to my home? That's the only option
