I bought a pup from Ms Pretorius 7/5/ '12 for R5000 as KUSA registered & collected it from her Gordons Bay home 10/6/ '12. She said registration will reach me 10 Aug '12. After several emails and trying to get hold of her on her phone, she assured me that she did apply for registration. Nothing happened. Feb '13 I tracked her in Brits. KUSA did not have her Kennel name on their system. She again made many promises that she didn't keep. 23 /7/'13 I took my problem to SAP of Napier refer Insp Maree but his detective felt it is a civil matter. 18/9/ '13 I wrote Mrs Pretorius a Final Warning to submit Registration to me no later than 30 Sept & if failing, I will take legal action against her for the recovery of R3300 interest. The money being a refund on the price difference between a registered dog's price for which I paid R5000 vs R1700 being the current price for unregistered dogs available on internet related sites. She did not deliver registration. On 2/11/'13 I sent her a Final Notice of Demand for R3300 interest for which I now intend to take legal steps against her via SmallClaimsCourt.
