I reside alone in a flat situated in Sunnyside; during the day I am at work and turn off my geyser during peak periods and when I leave for work.
My bill has doubled in a period of 4 months from R400.00 to R1 000.00 without any reasonable explanation. I have a record of Statements to support my complaint.
To my surprise my electricity bill has been increasing drastically. This company charges exorbitant amount on electricity and as consumers we do not have access to meters.
This is unethical business practices and suggests that they should be regulated. What's worse is I am threatened to pay without getting a solid explanation on how they got to the bill.
