I was involved in an "accident" where the driver of this company's vehicle *intentionally* damaged my car seemingly because he though I wanted to push in front of him via the emergency lane - in fact, I was turning left. When we stopped, 16 passengers got out of his truck and began to intimidate me. The police had to intervene.
When I tried to call for insurance details, I found that both numbers that the driver had given me were false. Luckily, having seen the company name on their clothing, I was able to find the correct number. I spoke to the owner who promised to call back and subsequently ignored all calls and e-mails.
Today I spoke to a woman named Elise who tried to avoid giving me the insurance details. When I told her that I didn't have insurance, her aggressive "Oh, I thought so" response seemed as if she was implying that this somehow made it my fault.
You would think that a reasonable person would be interested to know more about an employee abusing their vehicle, but I can only guess that he has concocted some vastly different story and they have chosen to believe this single account. Could it perhaps be because he had 16 (completely unbiased) witnesses? I wonder!
