I was travelling behind the driver of a truck, Reginald, who decided stop on the middle of the N3 offramp. I then stopped behind him. He then decided to do something illegal which is reverse on the offramp. He reversed onto my vehicle pushing it more than 2 metres back. Smashed and damaged my car. He then got down and apologised saying he was sorry for reversing and never see me behind him. He refused to come to the police station to report the accident. Days after, he told their insurance not to pay because I drove into him. I had a witness who gave a written report stating the the driver reversed onto me but the insurance company Zurich still refused to pay as they closed the claim due to conflicting merits. They took the drivers word against mine and the indipendant witness. How unfair is this? The owner Jeremy agreed that the driver admitted the truth that he reversed and then changed the story a week later and went with what his driver said.
