Very angry and fustrated Client

I had made a booking earlier on in the year with DLI hall, we then decided to change the date which andre said was find we chose the 07/07/2013 which was vodacom july, when we asked him if the hall would be available he said yes. We then decided to cancel the booking, when we spoke to him and mailed him he said we would get the refund however it take from 3 to 6 months which we said find. till today we have not been contacted by him, he does not reply to our emails or takes our calls he says the directors of the board are in different places of the country and they have top make a decision. I am upset because we trusted him in good faith also with him telling us the hall would be available yet it wasnt going to be and we told him ways in advance that we want to cancel, whats taking him so long to give us our money back.
