Gotta love SAPO. Here I was sitting at work on a Monday just before a public holiday sulking because most people were having a long-weekend when I saw the notification; my package is ready for pick-up... at the Waterkloof Air Force Base. They probably thought I'd be swooping in like a Gupta and casually picking up my scrapbooking order.
The person I spoke to at customer service suggested precisely that and seemed confused when I asked him where I should apply for security clearance. The person I spoke to at the post office directly said I should just phone them and ask whether they've received an interesting package with sharp objects and whether they could return it to me.
I did consider driving up to the Air Force Base and asking them to let me in so I could pick up a parcel, but my Mercedes is in for a service.
Kudos SAPO, kudos... I haven't laughed so hard in a while.
