I have been using Carlton hair for over 2 years and various salons in JHB, CPT and KZN and was always very pleased with the high standard, professional and friendly staff. I travel a lot and have recently moved to Johannesburg and don't have a preferred stylist. On the 22nd of June I made an appointment at East Gate Mall and really like the stylist (Rosalind) and I thought I have what I have been looking for.
But what I have experienced a few minutes later was shocking. I had a very stressful week and thought I will spoil myself with a Brazilian treatment. Knowing it a lengthy process, I knew I would have an relaxing afternoon with my book.
I was just settling in with my cup of coffee and my book and the next minute the staff had a huge argument in the salon. Staff mentioning how disgusting management is and that they will take out loans to sew one another. The stylist that was busy with my hair, just walk away without notifying
or apologizing to me and joined in the argument. Next minute staff stormed out to the salon to go and lay a charge at the Police station.
Need I say more, To make it worse i called the headoffice and was told to email Kim.sent mail 5/7 6/8 14/8 no reponse
