BAD ATTITUDE & LACK OF CLEAR COMMUNICATION

Our 5 month old cat dislocated his elbow - we took him to Ashburne Vet to have it put back in as well as to have him neutered. We were given an estimate for the bill - however when we phoned back later we were told the bill was almost double the amt quoted. It was substantially more than we had budgeted for. On top of this they did not even bother to give us a courtesy call to let us know. I asked if we could do a "payment plan" & was very rudely informed by the "Head Dentist" that I should be grateful for what they had done for our cat and not be squabbling over the money. When I told him that I didn't just have that kind of money in my pocket he proceeded to tell me that it was a very affordable amount and that I shouldn't be moaning!! The amount in question is around R2, 600.00 - maybe small for some but a large amount to fork out just like that!! I suggested that we do a "payment plan" but was told that he "didn't think he could do this as he has a very strict policy" - I never once said that we wouldn't pay and yet I was treated like!! Their bad attitude and arrogance will ensure that I never use or refer their service ever again!!!
