I took my dog Zena through to see Lisa at Bakenkop. She then diagnoses Zena with Hook worm and gave me cream to put on her neck to treat her. Zena then just got worse and worse by Tuesday and Wednesday, so I called Lisa on Thursday to find out what was going on, she told me to bring her back which I did but the vet was very busy so took her to raslouw. The vet treating her there immediately felt a lump on her stomach and suggested an xray, to find that she had pancreatic cancer AND NOT WORMS. I then called to inform bakenkop of the situation and now am being refused a refund for a wrongful diagnosis. My dog is dead as a result and I feel a refund should be granted because she was misdiagnosed completely. Lisa has made a point of saying that Zena definitely had worms, which my vet at Raslouw has confirmed she definitely did not. I will inform everyone who I know that goes to Bakenkop of this, and the terrible service, If someone owns up and says they are sorry an issue can be resolved, but an attitude like this will get you nowhere.
