The following "show specials" were advertised on the Mama Magic website; Babymoov Bottle Warner's, food bags etc, Alex art desk for R1200, Knights baby Throne potty for less R300. Bumbo seat R 249. On arrival, I searched high and low for these advertised specials. I enquired at the info desk, was told no exhibitors exist for Knights baby throne and Babymoov. I went inside the Baby City store at the show, asked every exhibitor I could see, all we're clueless, and the organizers office was closed at 4:45pm, leaving nobody who could give me an answer. One of the Baby city staff said they do not stock Knights Baby throne or Babymoov products and they did not have any Bumbo seats. I was also annoyed to find the Hipp organic baby food for R 11.42 instead of R9.00 as advertised. As for the Alex art desk, I paid R1450 for it instead of the R 1200 advertised! I feel betrayed having been lured to the Baby expo by false advertising, and very disappointed that most of the products I intended to buy was not even there!
