Error in reservationa and poor customer service

My girlfirend recently purchased a Groupon for a massage for two people at the Hilton Spa Boutique. Afew weeks ago she made a reservation for the two of us to go for the massage on 16 August 2013. When she called on 15 August 2013 to confirm the reservation it was noted that the staff at the spa had erroneusly booked the massage for one person only. I had taken time off work to attend the massage with my girlfriend. I work in a client deadline driven job and the last half of the year is incredibily busy and demanding, and as such I cannot take time off from mid August to mid December. When we contacted the manager on duty at the spa to see if they could accomodate us both, rather than the single person that they had mistakenly booked, we were told that it was impossible and they could only move out booking to later in the year when I can't attend. This was even after I explained my situation. I feel that the customer service was aweful from the error in making the booking to the unwillingness to accomodate us, even though the error was on their end. I have subsequently cancelled the voucher and I plan on never using the Hilton's facilities due to this incident.
