Arrived at provided residence in Lepalele @ 19:00, after my shift at finished for that day, Supervisor phoned asking if I wished to do overtime work to which i agreed, I was to wait at camp residence main gate for company transport to arrive, an hour later I received a phone call stating I was to use my own vehicle as transport was not available. En-route to the work site I was involved in an accident with a local taxi, I was informed by the Union (Solidarity), Lawyer and Work Forum that the local taxi company is responsible for the damages or part there of and that they were to pay for repairs etc. Now both Wetbank Contractors and A.M.T Agency refused any form of responsibilty or assistance, the Union (Solidarity) is also refusing to assist, the latter is questionable as they have been bribed. Transport allowances and Safety bonuses are apaid to workers a week before the due pay date, on pay date the money is deducted and reflected as an advanced deduction which should not have been done.
