I am using the public transport to work which is the train, a new system time was introduce on how the trains would be running since the 10/05/2013 to date, I must say that it is an extremely poor system as we are arriving @ work extremely late, my train which I get @ Olifantsfontein supposed to arrive @ 05:30 but it arrives @ 06:45, meaning that I will be getting to work 3hours later @ 09:11am. All we ever get from management or the people who announces when trains will arrive is that they are coming, no one in Prasa ever gives the correct explanation. Also when we ask why they give such a poor service we are told to go use the taxi & it's not their problem that the trains are late. To top it off is that the train would get stuck in the middle of nowhere & u can't go to a taxi which is very frustrating.
A lot of people use the trains every day & most of them can't afford a taxi to work, but Prasa & its management don't care, currently the way the trains are running a lot of people will be unemployed due to late coming, the letter they gives us to give to our employers is not working because every day we arrive at work late giving us a bad record with our employers.
