I bought a Ragdoll kitten on Gumtree in good faith. Being based in Cape Town it was delivered to my in laws in Gauteng and after seeing it, it bears no resemblance to what we bought and at best is a Ragdoll cross, if that. After repeated contacts the seller just does not answer. The story we were told does not check out at all and after searching on the cell number, 0822159012 it appears that these guys have a going. The only other details we have is an email address of [Email Removed] The contact people are often different on the same number, Cindy/Koos/Karel and they seem to have many animals to sell. This does not check out with the story they told us which was they lived in a complex and hence could not keep the cat. They did not want us to see it at their site, they wanted to deliver. The story does not gel. We were also provided with inadequate/probably vets papers with no vet name on a single sheet of paper. All we want is our money back or at worst a partial refund as we still will give this kitten a home as the last thing I want is to give it back into the care of these people. Check anything you get from these guys thoroughly.
