I have owned a unit in Erandcourt, in Midrand, since 2006. From 2006 to mid 2012, I paid approximately R30 a month as a service/administration fee to Triple-M. Their service was excellent.

Fast forward to mid 2012.

I had not had a tenant in my property for a while, and thus, a new account was started. I started paying in amounts into the electricity account. Initially there was no problem, until Triple-M suddenly stated that a R205 winter levy is to be added. This has now degenerated to R205 EVERY MONTH.

I ended up in a heated argument via email with an employee at Triple-M. Eventually I threatened Triple-M that I would go to the newspapers regarding this issue. Immediately, I received a letter from their attorney, a Mr Gideon van den Berg, stating that they will proceed with an application for an urgent interdict to "prevent me from going to the newspapers".

1. The lawyer's letter is written in child like fashion.
2. It appears that Triple-M has something to hide as they are desperate for me not to go to the newspapers with this issue.
3. Triple-M uses bullying tactics, to prevent its customers from going public with this issue.
