I today telephonically ordered 3 large pizzas today from Norwood branch for delivery at my company for an office function (1 Mexicana, 1 Triple Chicken and 1 Triple Meat). The amount quoted by the cashier was more than I had worked out and when I queried the pricing, she said that "did I not know that the triple deckers were 3 layers and made with extra cheese). I told the cashier that this was not on the website and she again mentioned the 3 layers and that they were made with 3 cups of cheese, so needed extra cheese. Since I sit in an open plan office with senior staff, it was uncomfortable to get into a huge debate so thought I would wait for the bill to see what I had been charged for. I have also not had a triple decker in over 3 years. When the bill arrived for the 3 pizzas, I was charged 6 extra mozzarella cheese toppings at R12.90 each. So I paid almost R150 for each triple decker!!! And to top everything off, no extra cheese, normal triple decker. I have also contacted their national call centre who said they would escalate the matter but I saw other Norwood "extra cheese complaints" on Hellopeter - and not resolved. Branch denied the refund!!!
