I have a geyser that needs to be replaced. Insurance gave the job to Kwikot. They did replace a geyser at my home in 2007. The geyser was pulled trough the trapdoor and installed.and I have proof of that. When the installation people arrived they said it cannot be done through the trapdoor as there is a galvinised pipe running over a small segment of the trapdoor. Photographs were taken, the wrong type of geyser brought and still nothing. They insist that the pipe be removed. In desperation I contacted a plumber to have the piece removed. It is such a small piece that it is not very high on their priority list.
Is there no manager at Kwikot that is prepared to use his management skills to remedy this problem. Somebody must know a plumber that will do the job and get the job done. Taking a lot of photographs will not provide warm water in my home.
It seems to me that good service delivery with initiative when a snag comes along is just as endangered as the Rhino.
Who knows, I just might enjoy warm water out of a tap before I expire., .
