I bought a Jack Russel puppy from Paradise Pets in Fourways for R1800 and got told he was almost 8 weeks old. He looked healthy.(We got given a pathetic piece of paper stating that the puppy was vaccinated by a vet, but on the day of the complaint we got told that the breeder did it herself which illegal) The next two days he started vomiting and having bad diarrhea so I took him to the vet to be told he was 6 weeks old. They did tests on him and found that he had worms, coccidia, and an intestinal disease. I had to take him back the next day because the medicine was not staying down. More tests were done and they found that he was anaemic, had cat flu and the other problmes mention above. Later that day he had to be put down. I went to Paradise Pets only to get shouted at and told to leave. They said that it was our fault that he got four diseases in less than a week. They also said that CAT FLU DOES NOT EXIST!!! We tried to show them the evidence from the vet but they refused to read it and said that the vets were lying to us to get our money. Paradise Pets need to be shut down or not allowed to sell any sort of animal at all because this is unfair on the customer and even more the animals.
