On the 25th April 2013, I had an appointment for a "FULL SERVICE DELUXE PEDICURE". I have had many pedicures at other salons in the past, with no problem. On early arrival, the Lady takes me to the chair and says, she can prepare in the meantime. She starts by removing the existing paint from my nails. I notice she looks "astounded" but she doesnt say anything. I then ask her if all is ok. Me being aware of my "big toe", having a bit of discoleration, tells her yes, I have a sort of fungus under the big toe nail. She then replies. "O I cannot then do your pedicure". I ask her why? She responds "Its against company policy". I have never felt this "humiliated" in all my life. There were other clients listening to this conversation "As Sorbet's Pedicures are not done in private rooms, No where in the Salon does it state that and I asked why it isnt advertised, so I could have gone elsewhere. I then suggest that she does not take the other foots paint off and that she just repaints my nails that she had removed. She "REFUSED TO DO THAT", unless I bought my own nail polish. I had to leave the salon with unpainted nails and totally embarrased and humiliated. Sorbet must be exposed!
