I have always been a huge fan of Sorbet - especially the dedicated nail bar in Hyde Park - and to the point where I frequently defend the quality of their treatments to my friends.
Last week Tuesday I booked for a Gelish manicure. I was kept waiting 20 minutes for my treatment to start, and once I got back to the office afterwards, noticed that 4 of my nails had bubbled.
I called the salon to let them know that I wasn't happy with my manicure. I know that Sorbet have a policy that you don't pay for treatments that you aren't happy with - I didn't want my money back, I wanted my nails fixed. They told me they were too busy to fix my nails on Tuesday, so I scheduled a new appointment on Wednesday to have 4 nails redone. Although this was done free of charge (quite rightly) I got the impression that the therapist was quite annoyed at having to redo the job - she was very unfriendly - which is not something that I expect from Sorbet salons.
I am now seriously disappointed when on Monday, less than a week after having my "3 week mani" the Gelish on my nails is already peeling...
