SA Post Office
Well done to the staff of Leraatsfontein

I made an effort to get to know the people at my local Post Office, and all frontline staff members, I know by first name. They are Bokka, Frieda, Hannelie, Lerato and Elkan. All of them usually walk the extra mile, but today, Elkan went beyond the extra mile and exceeded all my expectations.

This is what happened, I trade on e-bay and for some reason, my parcel landed up in Highveld Park post office in Centurion, I gave Elkan the tracking number provided by the supplier and he phoned the toll free number to confirm the location of the parcel. After finding out where this parcel was, he then phoned the relevant post office in Centurion, confirming that they had the parcel. After confirmation, he arranged that it will be re-routed to Leraatsfontein in Witbank, eMalahleni... all this with Elkan's usual smile.

When Elkan returned to the counter, he gave me the national tracking number for the parcel and assured me, that it will get to me now.

A thank you for this kind of trouble is simply not enough.

Thanks Elkan, this really gives me more than just hope, it gives me confidence in our postal service.
