More than 20 years ago (during the 1990's) I had a Cuthberts account, which I settled. I have never received any letters from anyone informing me that still owed them money. I have subsequently bought a car, obtained a credit card from one of the leading banks in South Africa, bought a house and had a clear credit record until VVM decided to load a trace alert against my name!! No where on my credit health record, which I request once a year was I blacklisted by Cuthberts for an outstanding account. VAN DE VENTER MOJAPELO INC is flooding my email with letters of demand which I am still disputing. I am in the process of consulting with an attorney as I will take this matter further.
