I had a Foshini account that I closed years ago. For the past year, I've been receiving sms's, e-mails, telephone calls and threats from these debt collectors for some debt they claim I owe Foshini. It is not a big amount, and I have requested on numerous occasions (by e-mail and telephonically) that they prove the debt to me (as they are required to do by law), in which instance I would immediately settle it. Instead of the information I requested, I continuously receive more harrassing sms's, phone calls and threats. These people expect me to take them at theiir word that I owe this debt, and is not willing (or able) to actually prove the existence of this debt which could easily have been achieved by providing me with a simple Foshini statement. In addition, the agents who call (every time a different one) are rude and unhelpful.
