The email sent to JM attorneys

We have received this notification from your offices today, on behalf of my spouse Nilesh Jivraj and Your reference number 1111345408, we have kindly requested documentation from your offices for a copy of the sales agreement that is being referred to in your email below.
From my understanding of your conversation with Mr Jivraj, you will not proceed in forwarding of the documentation without a signed affidavit and 3 copies of a specimen signature.
As far as my knowledge this should not be necessary if the customer requests a copy of the sales agreement signed by himself, therefore I have copied the Ombudsman from the national credit regulator in obtaining a view of such a notification. Also noting that we have been married for the past 16 years, I have not seen any such accounts nor any notification of summons, statements or letters requesting for payment from Houseware.
My question to you refers if an account is in arrears for almost 17 years or so does it take one such a long time to rectify it. This account by now if it was not paid should have been written off as a bad debt.
