My boss gave me a document of 100 pages to type over in 1 day (he needed an electronic copy as he lost his due to PC change) so i had one of two options, i could either type till i couldn't no more or i could go on a Google hunt for the right program to use which is obviously free, easy and quick to use. I came across a couple of these programs and most had "Free version" Written all over them with fine print stating Free Trial... now we all hate trial versions... As i wanted to throw the towel in, i saw The Online OCR site and decided to go and have a quick look... I found the perfect free program. its not a trail and for big documents there is a fee, but for the smaller documents, its absolutely free. (those types of documents that you just don't have time to type over). now i paid 4 dollars for 100 pages which is absolutely great (got my document converted in less than 20 minutes in exactly the same form that i scanned it, but now in word and editable... And best of all is, you DO NOT have to download the program.. Its Online? I know hey - FANTASTIC- And that's not the only conversions they do, go check their site out.
