Charged for food I didn't eat and insulted

I was told that I didn't enjoy the food because this is a mushroom I'm not used to. I had two bites of my food and didn't enjoy it, but they chose to charge me for it, because I don't know the mushroom. I'd like to know how they can presume to know that I don't know the mushroom and why they think that peas and carrots are acceptable to serve in a pasta?
