At the beggining of March, our medical aid debit order details changed. All necessary and relevant documents were completed, submitted to Discovery and confirmed by Discovery that on 1 April 2013, the new bank account would be debited. On 19 March I again called to confirm all was in order. Discovery confirmed that it was. However, on 1 April we were debited twice i.e. the monthly debit order came off both bank accounts!!! I immediately contacted Discovery. After being put through to 7 different people, was finally assisted and told that yes, the error was totally Discovery's and I would be reimbursed at midnight - that was last Tuesday!! Nothing happened. Called again Wed, Thurs, Friday - was promised that my calls would be returned by management and my money deposited. Monday, 8 April - STILL NO MONEY IN MY BANK ACCOUNT. I called Discovery again and asked the last MANAGER I spoke to call me. STILL NO RESPONSE from anybody. I find this service totally unacceptable - we are not talking a few rand, but quite a few thousand rand. Who do I contact at Discovery to finally help me or give me answers??? They are quick to take your money but not quick to rectify.
