We had buffet breakfast at the restaurant on the public holiday, Monday 1 April 2013. It was approximately 09:30, so still early. The food not only looked dry and unappetising, but it tasted bad as well. The only thing that was nice, is the omelette. I am utterly disgusted to be charged R180 per person for breakfast and be given such below average food, from a place that is supposedly rated as a good restaurant. We did complain to the manager, who dealt with the situation very politely. Despite the fact that i was charged for only one breakfast, this is unacceptable. I could get better breakfast for less at a number of places in and around Pretoria. I dont see why i have to pay so much for so little. I expect to get served fresh food that tastes great at a place like this. That was the very last time i had gone to Kievits Kroon's Restaurant.
