Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront
Does anyone work here???

Coffee at the Radisson Waterfront - arrived to be told - we should move to the bar area as they were setting up for lunch- we waited... and waited... 2nd couple arrived... and we waited... 1 table of gentlemen quite near the bar doors were happy- young hostess in a black suit with 'attitude' i.e. remaining inside - strange as she was the first point of contact - able to 'point' where to go but not interested in service -a waiter came out from the bar area, but it was clear that 'our' table was not on his action plan as we were totally ignored - busy? when approached he 'pointed' the direction of the General Manager whereafter staff appeared & the young 'suit' then enquired if 'we were ok' - the waitress who took our order was lovely, gracioius and it was very clear that she was obvoiusly busy elsewhere! What has happened to our 'hotels' - what has happened to 'service'? pointing? one escorts guests for goodness sake - Hostess means "how can I assist you? " a 'suit' means 'extra skills' in the event of - not beneath me attitude-I am embarrassed to be a SA'can Hotelier! AND unfortunately it reflects so badly on the GM & the property-unfair! attitude in a suit = lost business
