I was desperately disappointed in the service, and general lack of management at the Pine Lake Inn, in total my bill for 3 nights stay was R4200. For this amount you expect a certain level of service and amenities. The food, mattresses, bedding were desperately aged and tired. And the hotel had absolutely no contingency nor empathy when there was a 8 hour electricity black out. Not even a lantern was offered to us as we braved the pitch black corridors at night. Room service trays are left outside the rooms overnight without being cleared away and none of the rooms have mini bars so even if you wanted to buy water, you can't store it.
