I am currently on the discovery keycare plus plan.
I was some how late with by documents for proof of income due to financial year end at our company and was then debited the at the highest income bracket.
For someone that has chosen a low income med aid and earns under R5000, I find it very bad and frustrating when discovery debits an extra r1000 from my account. I am now in a cashflow problem and to date after sending the info i have not been credited my monies.
I understand the company policies and admit I was in the wrong not sending info timeously. I have sent a payslip in dec but you required some forms to be filled. I really feel oppressed now having to cry for my monies.
I am a low income earner and this is not ethical from such a huge and prosperous company as discovery.
I trust that I will be treated kindly in the matter. I had to incurr extra charge due to bank charges etc. All of which is totally against my budget.
I hope the matter is resolved and I my plan is restored to its original price as I can not afford being over debited again.
