Claim submitted on 11 feb. on 20 feb I call to find out what is taking so long, this claim handler says they have approx a 5 day back log but I'll be paid by fri (22 feb). Mon 25 feb I call again as I still haven't been paid, this time Brenda advises me they have only just registered my claim and will now process. I should be paid by tues, but he will call by 10am to give me feedback! Surprise surprise no call! At 12:00 I call and get put through to another manager Natasha, now discovery are experiencing an 11 day back log!! But I'll be paid by wed eve. It's now thurs 7am and still no payment! R2100 might not seem like lots of money to you, but when it's all you have to get you to month end, IT IS!!!
Wake up people, if we pay u late you cancel us or repudiate claims. NICE!
