I had a mantoux test done on Wednesday afternoon and had to go back to Pathcare on the Friday to have the test verified. Unfortunately due to work commitments, I was running slightly late and got there one minute after closing time. Luckily there was still someone in the office, although it was all locked up already and I asked if someone could just check out the area where the test was done so that the results could be sent to my doctor. The sister on duty was already doing her rounds in the wards but I was told I could wait for her. I did so and 20 mins later she attended to me. Unfortunately (and this is the only complaint I have) I was advised by her that it wasn't necessary for me to go in unless there was any visible reaction. It would have been nice to have been told this when I had the test done and saved me some time and money.
