I am a fan of Liberty Medical Aid and would love to go onto the Medical Aid, but unfortunately we cannot. I have been looking at the Gold Saver Select, and got in contact with a Liberty person here is East London who advised me that the plan only covers for 1 private hospital, which is St Dominic's. I don't have a problem with going there or only being able to go there, but I have 3 children who would not be able to go there as they do not have a children's ward as the children's ward has been moved to Beacon Bay Life which is a hospital not covered by the medical aid. Does this mean that the option is only for adults, if so, why not state that on the Internet or on the pamphlets? Please can you look into this as it is incorrect information that is being produced. I still would live to join Liberty on the Gold Saver Select but cannot as I have 3 children that may have to go to hospital one day. If St Dom's will take Children please can you send me written confirmation of this.
