My son went for a operation. The above mentioned doctor charged 100% over medical aid rates, where at the time of the operation stated that she charges Discovery rates. We payed her in July 2012 the amount of medial aid rates. She has personally banked the cheque and not declared it to her accounts department. I have emailed letters as well as copied the Medical Board of South Africa. We are now in Febuary 2013, they have not responded to any of my letters or any other form of communication, therefore I will be persuing with a charge. The Doctors in South Africa is a money making racket, there is no oath and committment towards there patients. Where is all the service gone that we received from the old school doctors.
