I took a pregnant abandoned cat which lives in my complex to Fourways vet as I was worried that she would have her babies under a bush somewhere. The staff were all fantastic. They checked her out & informed me that she would probably give birth in a week & then tested her for the 2 fatal feline diseases. she was negative. I expected to & was prepared to pay but realising that she was not the owner I was not charged but instead given food to take back for her & I was offered assistance under the circumstances.
Thank You ALL at Fouways Vet, you were amazing & have offered me a great solution to what could have become a sad situation. Your care & understanding was refreshing. We got our cat from Friends of the Cat where this pregnant cat is going to go to while she nurses her babies. My rescue cat is on You Tube 'houston358'.
