Harrased by aggressive call centre/sales person

Last night at about 6pm, I got a call from an Indian lady from Helivac. She started explaining that a close friend has recommended me and named a few other people I knew. Then she talked about what the company provides and started asking me my details. Name, address, email, phone numbers. I still thought okay, maybe she wants to send me info. I started getting uncomfortable when she asked my ID number and then my bank account number. At no point in our conversation did she asked me if I was interested, if she could continue or if I want to apply. I realised that she was filling in an application. I ended the call. She phoned again and warned me not to end the call. I ended the call again and took out my battery. This morning she phoned me at work. Still wanting my bank account number. I told that I can't afford it now, she still pursued me. Not backing down. She used my friend's name to try and manipulate me. I eventually said no! Still she continued. She even asked me other people's names and numbers I could recommend. Why on earth would I do this to anyone else? This company is using disgusting underhanded sales tactics and tricking people into becoming members.
