I booked at Fire and Ice Cape Town for their valentines 5 course meal and movie on the roof package.
The night was also to celebrate my boyfriends birthday as it falls on Valentines day.
We were told to be at the hotel by 730pm. We arrived, they welcomed us in and the food was great. During our 4th course we asked what time the movie on the roof was supposed to begin and the reply? "Oh it started at 830pm already"
Nobody from the hostess, to the waitress to the manager bothered to inform us of ANY details, and as a result we got our 5course meal, but missed out on the movie, which was supposed to be included in the price of R325 pp.'
I then asked if the movie was to be screened again, the response: "I don't know"
By that time we were so fed up we eventually left.
On the Friday I emailed them to ask for an explanation as to why there was such a lack of communication and 4 days later I have heard NOTHING back.
I am highly disappointed and was far from impressed by the lack of customer service we received.
