I have Hashimoto's disease. For this one needs help from a endocrinologist. My Hashimoto is so complex it has triggered numerous other chronic illnesses. Discovery registered me for Hypothyroidism since May 2010!! As of that month they have paid for the medication I am taking in order to have the thyroid working. HOWEVER about half a year ago I found out that Discovery should ALSO pay for 2 blood test for the levels of the thyroid. In this half a year I have sent a ton of e-mails to Discovery, every time somebody else reply's but with no solution. All in all this means that all the various blood test done/ordered by Dr Hough (endocrinologist) since May 2010 have been paid out of my own pocket, whilst it should have been paid by Discovery.
1. I want added on my "chronic list" with Discovery the approval for the blood test, codes 4507, 4482 and 4484 each test can be done twice a year, this clearly states on their website under "best of Care prescribed Minimum benefit treat guidelines.
2. I demand from Discovery that all my money spent for all blood test done since May 2010 to be returned/reversed. Prefer contact via e-mail!!! cell often doesn't work here high up in the mountain
