I reported the very same complaint, hoever Dennis did not get back to me but put up a message that they have resolved the issue.
Dennis requires bi-lateral skull xray for orthondontic purposes. yet according to the treating doctor all the xrays done show that there is a problem and the child needs braces. Dennis nows says if its not causing major health issues they dont need to authorise. My child has issues... what is the need for further xrays and cost when they make you do the xrays and then go and decline. they have done this to another patient that had the same problem. Only Dennis does not approve for such stuff, yet all the other medical have been approving! Bonitas-Dennis is taking their members for a ride and we all need to fight this or change our medical aid to one that cares for its members and not just take our money and decline our procedures!!!
