Applied to post of HR Officer, called to second interview.. I fly up to jhb and the hr manager calls me aftewards just to say 'you're lovely, I'm thinking of you'. Then he starts messenging me to skype at 10pm and calls after working hours and gets upset when I say NO. He calls to say I'm successful for job and start work on monday and he will send contract. Before driving to jhb I remind him for contract and he insults me for asking him to do so, yet how could I make the trip to jhb from dbn with no contract?? I get to work on monday and he demands an apology for asking him for my contract. During the day he randomly holds me around my waist from behind! I felt totally disgusted and pushed him away. I luckily kept all correspondance-call logs, emails, whatsapp messages. The previous hr lady told me working under him has been the worst months of her life and she goes to church to pray for to change this hr manager. I decided then that this dream job of mine had to be declined because I was not prepared to work under this man. It worries me that Riddisson Blu has this guy as their HR Manager when they are such an elite hotel and my costs for travel was over R3500. Such a waste.
