Just about 2 weeks ago, my friend had an incident where he was using some medications. It included bi-polar drugs, anti-retrovirals, anti-depression drugs.
All those elements must have clashed and he went into a very unstable psychotic phase and become very violent and figity.
Finally we got him in a car to take him to the nearest clinic, which was Morningside Medi-clinic. After arriving at the emergency truama centre, and explaining the situation to the lady at the reception saying we need him sedated so he can sleep of the effect. She turns to us with a very terrible attitute telling us to leave as they don't treat bi-polar patients. After several times asking her to please help us, she refused and kept turning away so she doesn't have to talk to us. Being furious with the attitute she was giving us when a life is at stake I told her that he is highly unstable and if we tried to get him to another clinic, we are at risk of getting into an accident, so can she maybe get an ambulance to tranfer him? She blantantly said no and that we will have to deal with it and risk getting into an accident.
I thought these people save LIFES!!! What!!
