LEFT OUTSIDE FOR 20 MINUTES
Upon our arrival at Casa Mia, we were left waiting in the street, nobody answered door bell, house or cell phone. We could not get into the property, although day/time of arrival had been confirmed.
TOLD TO FIND DIFFERENT PLACE
Once the owner arrived 20 minutes later, I informed him that we had been left waiting for 20 minutes. I was told that if I had a complaint, I should leave to look for a different place to spend the night - and that the 50% deposit is non-refundable!
DIRTY BATHROOM
In the shower, I found dirty cotton pads, toilet and sink were dirty. Fridge trays were lined with a greasy substance. Coffee container near the kettle contained rock-hard, black substance with white fungus growing on it. Little black things drifting in kettle. (Photos available) When pointing out these problems to the owner, I was told that I was being troublesome, and that there were no problems with the room.
MISMANAGED DATES
Another family arrived to be told that they were booked for the next day - despite email confirmation with correct dates. They were told to look for another place tthat their deposit would not be returned!
