I joined Compcare Symmetry option through the Iplan administration offices in Pretoria. As we consulted with the agent the best option was the above mentioned for the specific benefit that the medical aid was covering the specialized dentistry to the extent we needed, I preceded on the medical, and then did the work needed at the dentist. after the procedure the medical aid refused to pay because the benefit did not cover what was on the brochure and told us that all their agents was informed to change the brochure accordingly. I believe we have been mislead in a medical aid that was not good for us. we then preceded with the resignation to the medical aid which in turn did penalise us for early resignation and now we owe them a payment too.
I am not sure but its more on the agent side that seems to have caused the main problem, even though if you print the brochure and its not right you must get them all back and make sure someone does not sale the benefits as stated.
