Our medical aid with Bonitas unfortunately was cancelled in January, due to a short payment of only R535.00.
In February we had a difficult month and did not make a payment, in the beginning of April My hubby called Bonitas explained our situation and asked if we couf have the debit order re0instated and the medical aid up and running again, as we would be ab;e to make payment as usual.
The consultant assured us that everything would be sorted and we eould be covered. On friday when my hubby called in for a certificate of memebership for our records, we realised that the medical aid was still cancelled and they hasnot re-instated the medical aid at all. We have no cover and all you get at the call centre is that there is nothing they can do. They completely refuse to help. All they said to me was that they have no recored and they cant help me, perhaps the agent did not do his work. My husband has been out of town an did not get time to check his bank records every month to check that t=Bonitas is debiting his account, we took it for granted that Bonitas would have done there job.
Now we left with no cover and nobody wants to help us.
What terrible service from a medical aid.
