DISSAPPOINTED BY MOUNT EDGECOMBE HOSPITAL

My brother was mugged on the 21 September 2013 was severely injured from stabbed wounds and experienced a head injury, which caused condition to be critical because he was not in his senses causing
him to be restless, we took him to MOUNT EDGECOMBE HOSPITAL and we were told to pay R3500 cash
for a scan for his head as we were told that his medical aid does not cover for this scan and they cannot attend to him until they have done the scan, so we paid the requested R3500 cash and the scan was done then when we were relieved hoping he would be admitted as he was in a critical state and was classified as an ICU patient that did not happen we were told that discovery is offline so they could not admitt him we must go to a public hospital and we had to arrange our own transportation (ambulance), we were told we need to act up as they dont want to be held reliable should anything happen to him while we deciding on what to do, after paying so much they couldnt help us, why didnt they check if discovery is online before making us agree to pay, we took him too CITY HOSPITAL and he was admitted there in ICU and discovery was still offline but they didnt give us any problems.
