Just arrived back from a luncheon at the Valley Lodge and Spa in Magaliesburg. As regulars we expected good service and quality Sunday food.
For their famed Sunday luncheons here is what we got
1) 3 day old bread rolls?
2) Begging the chef to get more cut Salmon?
3) Sushi that left much to be desired with nothing in it
4) Lamb and oxtail that was maybe reheated from some previous generation?
5) Sloppy reheated tasteless veggies
Not a problem so far... so we get our meals and go sit down. So what do we find? Worms in the food! Needless to say we ate no longer.
So we call the Head waiter and he looks equally as "shocked" who looks around at our table. He comes back with a burly type "chef" who looks around and does not bother with an apology and he then too "disappears". They did NOT charge my daughter for her meal but we paid for our "worms".
What kind of service is this? To with your establishment and incompetent staff and management!
Let me go eat elsewhere! Valley lodge and Spa you! Keep your second grade food and establishment and your Worms!
